Band 5+: You have heard that the local authority is planning to build a shopping mall in the centre of your town. You do not agree with this decision because there are already a lot of shops. Write a letter to the planning department. In your letter -say why you are writing -give reasons for your objections -explain what you think would be a better alternative

Dear Sir,

I am Arpna. I am writing a letter to inform you that the government said that they are making a new shoppping district for the local people, even we have many shops in the town. I completely disagree with this statement. As a family, I am worried about the town.

Futhermore, there are many others things we need to make in the village instead of mall. In our town, there is only one book shop. As a result, students and people are getting the books from the cities that waste a lot of time. So, if we make huge library in our town that conatins all types of books that saves time as well as increase the educational level for villagers.

Moreover, there is only one playground in the town in which people do different kinds of activities that becomes busy all the time. As a suggestion , it is more good if we make one more seperate playground for the young children that contains playground equipments which helps children to remain fit both physically and mentally.
