Dear Sir,
I am writing in connection with an article of your travel magazine about my city.
The article covers all the important part of my city nicely. When I noticed first about the article, I could not believe my own eyes that how could my small beautiful city where I spend my childhood get attention of yours reputed magazine. The writer covers my school, college, hangout place which actually took me to the past for couple of minutes. I got nostalgic while reading the article.
However, the writer said the current principal name of Edward college wrong. It should have been ‘Abdul Awal’ instead of ‘Robert John’. Robert John was the ex-principal of the college. The writer might took the information from Wikipedia which is not updated.
It’s very important for a reputed magazine like yours to cross check the information from authentic source before publishing. The writer and editor should have been checked the latest information from official websites rather than relying on third-party websites. Researchers use your magazine as a reliable source of reference in their publications.
I would request you to be more responsible and more cautious so that this type of silly mistake might not take place in the future. Apart from that, you should publish another apology statement and announce your recent mistake.
Faithfully yours
Md. Khalid Mahmud
