Dear Sir/Madam,
I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recently published article about the city of Alexandria. The article contains several errors that need to be edited. Please let me elaborate.
I am an Egyptian citizen who works in the field of hospitality and tourism, and I have visited Alexandria many times. Additionally, I read a variety of books about the city’s history, geography and people. Therefore, all the information that I know are resulting from intensive research and investigations.
As for the wrong information, the writer claimed that the town had many historical attractions that were only belonging to the Greek era. These details are not correct as the history of this city is enriched with many events from different ages; thus, you may find attractions from the Pharaonic, Greek, Roman, Coptic and Islamic eras.
I believe that the writer needs to edit the article and pay more attention to this information. I would prefer that the writer could use some photos to describe the variation in these historical periods. I would be glad to assist by sending you some supplementary photos. I could be contacted at the address mentioned above.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Fady Abdelmalek
