Thank you so much for inviting me to the weekend getaway – it honestly sounds like a lot of fun, and I really appreciate you thinking of me.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to join this time because I already have a prior commitment that I can’t reschedule. I was really looking forward to spending time with you, so I’m a bit disappointed to miss out.

Maybe we could plan something together another time? How about meeting up next weekend or grabbing dinner sometime soon? I’d love to catch up and hear all about your trip.
