Dear Mr. Robinson,
I am writing this letter with regards to the inconvenience happened during these two weeks, while you where in Italy. It is not been possible for me to respect the promise I made before your vacation.
I am sincerely sorry for not being able to help you with the garden, I perfectly know that you and your family trusted my word and my presence, it is exactly for this reason that I am mortified.
I wanted to tell you the real reason why this happened: there is been a substancial change in my work schedule and during the past two weeks I had been in the office ten hours par day, and for three days I went out of city for a congress. The result of this is been my absence and the impossibility to fulfill my promise to check your garden, so now it is not in a good form.
Yesterday I was thinking about how to express my apology, so I thought to call a gardener and take an appointment with him to fix everything, all payed by me. He will come there tomorrow afternoon, if it is not a problem for you.
I hope you will forgive my absence.
Best regards,
Margareth
