Dear Hannah,
I hope you are doing well.
I am writing to let you know about your red sweater that I borrowed from you recently. If you recall, I borrowed it when I visited your place last week for the upcoming photo shoot at my company.
There was a minor accident on the day of the shoot, when a new assistant – who had just recently joined the firm- undeliberately spilled the black coffee to your sweater. It left a significant black stain on the front side that was difficult to remove. When that happened, I quickly pulled up the stain remover that I usually carry in my bag. It did help reduce the color of the stain, however it did not completely remove the residual from the stain. After the shoot ended, I brought the sweater to the recommended professional laundromat to clean the remaining stain. Fortunately, I came to the right place as their cleaning service has been proven successful. They used a special detergent mixed with a homemade bleacher that successfully removed the remaining stain on your sweater. I was in a huge relief to see that your sweater is back to its original condition- as if it’s new.
I truly apologize for this inconvenience. It was purely an accident and I am glad that the damage could have been resolved. I will be more careful when I use it again in the future.
Let me know when you are free so that I can return back your sweater. Thank you again for your help.
Best,
Stella
