Respected Sir or Madam,

I have this letter finds you in great spirits. I am writing with regard to a book that I recently borrowed from you. Basically, it was a book about history and as a student it is very useful for me. I got so much information of historic monuments which I do not know about before.

However, I am prepared for neet exam as well. The lessons given by you in lectures are quite useful but this book me knowledge in depth. For instance, there were all the wars and crucial moments mentioned along with dates, places as well as timings somewhere.

Unfortunately, last week I got sick and admitted in hospital. As a result of this, I was not able to return the book on time. I would like to apologise for the inconvenience I made. Thank you for your help and support. I look forward to receiving your response.
