Dear Restaurant Manager,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the experience my family and I had at your restaurant last Saturday. We chose your establishment to celebrate my parents’ wedding anniversary, expecting a memorable evening, but unfortunately, it turned into a major disappointment.
To begin with, we waited nearly forty-five minutes before our meals arrived, even though the restaurant was not particularly crowded. To make matters worse, two of the dishes served were not what we had ordered. When we informed the staff, we had to wait another twenty minutes for the replacements. Furthermore, the food itself was far below expectations. The steak was overcooked and dry, the pasta was served cold, and the soup lacked flavor. Considering the prices on the menu, the quality was unacceptable.
These issues completely overshadowed our celebration. Instead of enjoying quality time together, we spent most of the evening waiting for our meals and dealing with repeated mistakes. As a result, the occasion became stressful rather than enjoyable.
Given the inconvenience we experienced, I believe it would be reasonable for your restaurant to offer an apology along with appropriate compensation, such as a full refund, meal vouchers, or a complimentary dinner. I also hope you will review your service standards to prevent similar incidents in the future.
I look forward to your prompt response.
Yours faithfully,
[Natan]
