The diagram attached in the question illustrates how ethanol fuel is produced from corn after going through some standard procedures. This report will attempt to describe all the processes corn undergoes to obtain the product mentioned.

Firstly, corn is stored after which “milling” is done on the corn so that water can be added into it. Soon after the water has been added it is set for cooking, this process takes up an estimated 4 hours.

Later on, when cooking has been completed the product obtained is subject to “fermenting”. This procedure takes about 2 days or 48 hours. Following fermentation the product that has been optained is filtered out, which is basically the solid and liquid part of the product are all seperated.

Thereafter, the liquid that has been obtained through “seperation” is ethanol, which is then filtered for approximately 5 hours. The produce of all these steps and procedures are then stored and transported.

As a result of these steps being carried out, ethanol fuel is manufactured.
