The table shows the percentages of five different beef categories, including Belgian Blue, Holstein, Simmental, Scotch, and Aberdeen Angus, in five nations in Europe.
Overall, Belgian Blue is the most popular kind of beef in four out of five countries. It is the most favoured in Italy, amounting to 42% in the beef market there, surpassing the second place by more than 10%. While Belgian Blue has the least significant presence in the U.K among all countries surveyed, it still takes up 21% of the beef market there, amounting to the second popular choice of beef.
Holstein and Aberdeen Angus seem to be slightly less preferred. Each shares percentages hovering around 20% in all five countries, ranging from 16% to 24%.
Simmental and Scotch are arguably the least favourite types of beef in the surveyed European countries. Both only take up less than 20% of beef markets in all five nations, ranging from 10% to 19%.
To conclude, people in different nations included in the survey prefer different categories of beef, with certain noticeable trends that are mentioned above.
