Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter regarding the advert placement I came across on instagram requesting for people to help with a project to clean up the local environment.

I would like to express my interest in this initiative by contributing some cleaning items which I believe would make the cleaning process easier. Furthermore, I would also like to dedicate part of my free time to assisting with cleaning the pavements and gutters especially because I understand how important a good drainage system helps in preventing erosion in our surroundings.

However, I may not be available for the first two days of the project because of my current job schedule, nevertheless I am more than willing to join in on day 3 and put in my best.

I would be more than happy if I am given this opportunity to participate in your community service. I look forward to your feedback.
