The bar graph demonstrates the average proportion of hours worked per week by amongst eight groups of professionals, whereas, the pie chart reveals the occupation of people suffering from illness related to stress.
It is noticeable that business men worked significantly more hours weekly, while lecturers the least amount compared to others. On the other hand, despite working for few hours a week lecturers growing number of lecturers suffer from stress related illness whereas programmers rarely suffer from stress related illness.
To begin with the bar graph, considerable number of business men worked more hours compared to others accounting approximately 70 hours a week, followed by movie producers with recorded about 60 hours. However, doctors, writers and programmers occupies the middle ground comprising about 50, 45 and 40 hours respectively. Furthermore, lawyers and chefs accounted for about 30 and 22 hours weekly. Finally lecturers recorded the least less hours per week having about 20 hours.
Referring to the pie chart, lecturers account the largest proportion of 25% followed by movie producers recording 18%. Furthermore, doctors, business men and chefs occupied the middle ground accounting for 15%, 11% and 10% respectively. However lecturers and lawyers and writers both stood at 8%. Finally programmers occupied the least amount at 5%.In contrast, large number of lecturers suffer from stress related illness despite working fewer hours whereas business men work more hours and recorded low percentage of occupation related to stress illness.
