The diagram displays the percentage of the total world population in 4 nations in 1950 and 2002, and predictions for 2050.
Overall, it is noticeable that India and China have the biggest percentage in the given chart. We can see that in 1950 and 2002 China takes the lead with around 23 and 20 percent respectively, while in the same period India has about 15 percent in 1950 and almost 17 percent in 2002. However, predictions for 2050 gives us information that China will have about 15 percent of total world population, whilst India will take the lead with almost 20 percent.
On the other hand, USA and Japan have much less percentage than the leaders of graph. In 1950, American states and Japan had around 7 and 4 percent respectively, in 2002 we can notice negative fluctuation for both countries, 5 percent for USA and about 3 percent for Japan.
Also, we can see that based on prediction United states will have 5 percent of total world population in 2050, while Japan’s numbers will crash down to almost 2 percent.
