The bar chart indicates the amount of water (in millions of cubic meters) yearly using by industries in various countries.
Overall, it is clear that water usage comes from two sources including public supply and natural supply. At a first glance, chemicals industry has the most consumption in both sources.
When considering the amount of water that is exploited from underground, chemicals, metal, and paper fields are the top three segments that use the most water, which are 430 millions, 240 millions, and 190 millions, respectively. Meanwhile, the total number of water consumption in other four fields, fuel, food/drinks, machinery, and textiles are still less than the figure of chemicals field. These amounts are 70 millions, 110 millions, 10 millions and 80 millions, accordingly.
On the other hand, the amount of water supply from the public of fuel and textiles industries are the lowest, which are both 10 millions. Paper field consumes double amount of fuel counterpart, while foods/drinks, machinery, metal, and chemicals consume the most. These figures are recorded at 190 millions, 100 millions, 90 millions, and 240 millions, respectively.
