This data displays alteration of people’s travel preferences broadly which covered five main regions within five different periods from 1990 to 2005 by using million as an indicator.
Africa showed consistent growth annualy, they increased the number of almost half of their starting point from 18.2 in 1990 to 28.7 by 2005. This is also followed by Asia Pacific from 60.2 to 135.8 at the last term. Europe showed significant growth with the peak of 400.2 in 2005. Although start with the least number of 9.8 Middle East successfully improved the number to 15.8.
On the other hand, unlike four regions, USA failed to maintained consistent growth with reduced number of visitors between 1995 and 2005, yet they were able to recover at the last period.
Overall, despite a drop of visitors numbers in USA on the third period, it was not affect overall world travel significantly and the world travel gradually improved period after period.
