The bar chart below illustrates the total number of students who took particular university subjects in 2005.

Overall, Social sciences was the most chosen by females .In addition, sciences and methematics record a predominance of boys students . Languages had the largest gender gap.

In social sciences this subject was over 24 thousand female students who chosen their favorite subject. The difference for the male was about 14 thousand .Languages was the second highest number of students with 18 thousand learners while the least favorite choice male was only 2 thousand.Humanrities was only the subject had similar figure both chosen was about 12 thousand

On the other hand ,there was a significant difference between the amount of males who chose subjects at university. males are more interested in sciences, mathematics and than females .Most of male choose literature and law opposite to female students. However, very few boys chosen art was only 3 thousand as opposed to about 9 thousand female learners.
