The three given pie charts reveal the usage of different transport facilities preferred by the citizens in the UK, since 1965 to 2005. The chart has mainly discussed the idea of 4 different vehicles, which are used the most in comparison to others.
In summary, over the years the main source of transportation is seen to be private cars, whereas recreational vehicles such as campervans, caravans seem to have been used less and less as the time passes.
However, during 1965 recreational vehicles were operated just as much as both public vehicles and lorries. It’s practice only started declined significantly in 1985, as people’s preference about long drives or camping changed. The operation of lorries and other vehicles, such as trucks also suddenly decreased as it reached 2005. Nonetheless, the preference regarding private cars among people has been steadily growing over the years, where almost two-third of individual own their own personal vehicles.
