Dear Sir or Madam,

I recently came across the news that management has allowed some colleagues to work remotely from home and I would like to request you to allow me remote work as well.

From couple of days, I have been thinking to request my Manager to seek exception for me to work remotely as my wife is not doing well from two weeks and it get difficult for her to manage the kids and other house chores even with house help. My little daughter school vacations are getting over starting next month and I would need to pick and drop her from the campus , which will not be possible from office.

Allowing me work from home would save alot of commute time for me that I can utilised to set-up meeting with our off-shore clients for any new project for the company.Otherwise Offshore team usually over booked in our office timings and always cancel our meeting invites.
