The line graph illustrates the amount of shops establishment and closure in a country from 2011 to 2018. Overall, bussiness establishments are higher than shop closures in the beginning of the period, which then switched by the end of the period.
During 2011, shop opening was at its peak at around 8,500 shops, whereas shop closures was around 2,000 less. However, the amount of shop establishment drops significantly and then increased to 6,000 shops at 2014. In contrast, establishment closures increased slightly to around 7,000 on 2013 and subsequently decreased by half in 2014.
Furthermore, shop openings decreased gradually to 3,000 shops by 2018. Additionally, shops establishment remained stable during 2015 to 2017 at around 4,000 shops. On the other side, shop closures saw a dip to around less than 1,000 shops at 2015, which then increased by approximately 5,500 shops and remained stable to 2018.
