The two maps illustrate the geographical features and information of Someville town in 1985 and current day. Overall, there are significant developments at the East-South side of the main road. In contrast, there are some minor changes in the North-West part of the main road.
Looking at the North-West direction, the school at the upper north and the stadium at the west side have remained the same. On the east side of the stadium were areas with a nature park, trees and residential houses in 1985. However the houses were knocked down, and trees and the park were demolished after. Nowadays there are a large and small group of shops built up on the land where the park and trees were. There’s also a big new post office at the east side of the school today.
Turning to the East-South part of the main road, there were trees and a farmland at the bottom south of the main road in 1985. Nowadays they have all been replaced by residential houses. Going up towards the East-North side of the main road, the big farmland in 1985 has been re-constructed. A church is standing on that land these days.
