The maps illustrate the changes that took place in the town of someville between starting from 1986 to date.

Overall, the town witnesses a significant transformation over a period of 40 years, and less trees is the most prominent feature between the two images.

Looking at the 1985 map picture, it can be noticed that there was more farmlands and trees than the present day. However, there was no post offices or churches in the town at that time. Additionally, there was only one block of houses in 1985.

In contrast, in the present day map, more house blocks emerge, and a post office and church are built in the northeastern side of the city.
