The illustrated pie charts above shows the differences between several kinds of energy sources in France in 1995 and 2005. The data is devided into five elements, such as gas, coal, petrol,nuclear and others.
Overall, it is clearly observed that the top three sources remained the same within the two periods of time, which were gas,petrol and coal respectively. However, there was a slight decrease in petrol which went from 29.7% in 1995 to approximately 19.55% in 2005. In contrast, gas,coal, nuclear and others experienced significantly grouth over the same period of time.
With regards to the chart, the highest increase happened to other from 4.90% in 1995 to 9.10% in the next decade. However, even if other had the largest increase, it still became the least source of energy compared to the rest. In addition, nuclear had the second biggest increase from nearly 6.40% in 1995 to 10.10% in 2005.
