Dear Matthew,

Thank you for your mail. Firstly, I would like to apologize for the trouble that we are causing you. Our house had major pipe breaking in the kitchen and, due to this reason, extensive construction work is going on. However, it did not strike me until I received your letter yesterday regarding the loud noises due to the ongoing construction.

I completely understand that it has been disturbing for you to keep on listening these sounds every then and now. Hence, I have spoken to the contractors and the workers to maintain the noise level, and additionally, I have told them to only work until 5pm and discontinue the late-night work.

I am hoping the piping issue will be resolved by next week. Thanks for being patient and understanding during this whole time. Please feel free to contact me again if you are facing with any other issues due to the work.
