The bar graphs illustrates the amount of carbon emission produced by six different countries, namely USA, Germany, United Kingdom, China, Canada and India in the years from 1975, 1990 and 2005 messured in thousands metric tonnes.
Overall, the USA and China were the largest contributors to carbon emession across the three years, while canada consistently remains the lowest contributors. In general, emissions increased over time in most countries, with China showing the most dramatic growth.
In 1975, the USA produced the highest level of carbon emission at approximately 120,000 thousand metric tonnes, rising steadily to around 160,000 by 2005. China, on the other hand, started at a much lower level of about 40,000 in 1975 but experienced a sharp increase, reaching nearly 150, 000 thousand metric tonnes in 2005, almost matching the USA.
By contrast. Germany and the United Kingdom showed relatively moderate emessions. Germany’s figures declined slightly form about 30,000 in 1975 to around 25,000 in 2005, while the UK remained fairly stable at lower levels. Canada produced the least emissions throughout the period, whereas India showed a gradual rise from roughly 10,000 to 30,000 thousand metric tonnes.
