The bar chart illustrates three kinds of marine creatures populations in the Gormez Straits between 2006 and 2018. Overall, there was an upward trend in all three types of animals in this period shown. Meanwhile, dolphines populations surpassed seals to reach the largest proportion.
In 2006, seals accounted for the largest population, reaching approximately 43 compared to nearly 25 in whales populations. Dolphins stood up approximately 18, 7 less than that of whales. After 4 years, the number of seals declined considerably to 25 while the figure for whales and dolphins saw a sligh growth to 27 and 22, respectively.
After 2010, there was a sharp recovery in the number of seals, increasing from 35 in 2014 to 45 in 2018. Similarly, from 2014 to 2018, dolphins experienced a dramatic growth, surpassing seals number in 2018. Dolphins ranked first of this period, from 33 to 52 at the same time. Whales population also climbed from 22 to 28 at the end of the period.
