Given are two pie graphs illustrating the participation of various pastime activities in both gender in a certain survey. Overall, computer games was the most popular hobby of male, while dancing was true for its counterpart. Additionally, boys and girls shared the same indoor activities, however, physical activities were different from each other.
In detail, the participation rate of boys in computer games was 34%, which attracted the highest number of boys, meanwhile, dancing accounted for the largest proportion in the list of spare time activities of girls (27%). The percentage of boys engaging in reading was only 2%, whereas that of girls was 21%, whose data was significantly higher than the former. Computer games occupied 16% of all activities, which was only nearly a half of boys in the same figure.
Basketball ranked the second in the pastime activities of boys (26%), which was much higher than the participation rate in netball of girls (15%). Soccer accounted for three-twenty of all activities of boys. Skateboarding in boys’s spare time activities was equal to gymnastics in girls’s. The participation rate in listening to music of both gender was the same(10%), which was the lowest data in both pie charts.
