Dear Mr. John,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter in regard to working at the company’s head office for six months.

To start with, I am looking forward to settle down. Currently, I am quite ambiguous about settling abroad. However, if I spend six months at company’s head office in Berlin, I would gain some international exposure which would help me to take the decision in future.

As for my work, it can be done remotely as it involves writing code on laptop and meetings can be joined virtually. Additionally, the time zones are quite similar, therefore, engaging with my current team members would not be a major concern.

Last but not the least, the entire process requires approval from leadership and director levels. As a result, I would really appreciate if you could help me in getting permissions so that the transition is smooth and efficient.

Finally, I hope with this letter, you would help me to spend six months at company’s head office in Berlin.
