Dear Manager
I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. I’m writing this letter to address the health problems I have been suffering from for the last two months. I vehemently believed that was happening because I had worked for an extended period in front of a computer.
I am suffering from severe low back pain. It’s worsening during the night and badly hampering my sound sleep at night. I realized it was the result of my long sitting without taking breaks, which stiffened my back muscles and started pain. I never experienced this kind of pain before.
Considering my health issue, I personally request that you, if possible, shorten the working hour by at least one hour, and it would be appreciated if you provided some short breaks during working hours. So we can get some opportunities to walk around and maintain a good relationship with other colleagues. Working during a break is a vital part of stimulating the back muscles to increase blood circulation, which greatly helps to reduce back pain.
I think you understand my situation. I’m looking forward to hearing your positive response. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Yours sincerely,
Shahin
