Dear Mr. Shashimal Chandrapala,
Last Monday, I consulted a visiting practitioner due to a severe headache that I could no longer bear. The specialist advised me to contact an eye surgeon immediately for further investigation. Following that advice, I visited an eye clinic where I learned that my eyesight is deteriorating continuously and that I may experience short-distance blindness in the near future. To address this issue, the doctor recommended that I avoid LED screens, particularly under low-light conditions.
I believe my working conditions at the office may be contributing to this problem. In my section, I spend all day in front of a computer screen while working under the light of a low-watt LED bulb, which creates a dimly lit environment.
Therefore, I kindly request that changes be made to our working environment to improve lighting conditions and that LED screen protectors be provided for every device used by staff, in order to safeguard the well-being of the employees.
Thank you for your kind consideration in this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Sayumi Ayansa
