Dear Mrs. Clark,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am the mother of one of your students called Jack Marston. I am writing to let you know that I would be able to join on a three-day trip to The Netherlands that the school has arranged.
I would be delighted to accompany the group not only because it is a great opportunity for both my child and me to explore a new country, but also since my son is a new student in your class, therefore he has not got the hang of a new environment yet, that is why I would like to ensure that Jack feels more comfortable.
Besides that, I could assist with supervising students during activities. Moreover, including me in your team would be certainly an advantage because I can speak Dutch.
Finally, there are a couple of questions I would like to ask. Are there any specific items students should bring? And will I be allowed to walk around the city separately with my son?3
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Abigail Marston
