Hi Tisha,

I hope you are well. I am really sorry I cannot make it to the movies next Thursday due to an emergency.

Do you remember I had told you that I had applied for a manger role in a start up company? They have scheduled the final round of interview for Thursday 2 pm which will clash with the movie time. I checked with them if it could be moved unfortunately, that was the only slot available.

I know that you have already booked your ticket. So, I asked our college room-mate Mia if she is available on Thursday. She said she only has a coffee date in the morning and is free for rest of the day.

I think watching the movie with her will be fun as she is as much a sci-fi movie fan as you.

Let me know if you want to go with Mia and I will give her my ticket. See you soon.
