Nowadays, it is seen that students are leaving their families and shifting to other cities or countries for higher education. Though it is beneficial for them to get advanced knowledge but sometimes it is painful for the families who are left behind.
To explain it, getting opportunity of admission in the top universities is dream of many children. To fulfil their dreams, many of them have to move to a different place which gives them a chance to learn something new that align with their passion which they want to pursue. Residing there, they will learn different cultures, values and tradition of various areas of the world. Moreover, some colleges provide scholarships to the deserving candidates that provides them a financial support. Also, living far from parents make the individual self-dependent and they eventually realize the importance of a family.
But, on the other hand, a distance education is sometimes very hectic. All the management related to homework, meals or laundry has to be done single handedly which affect the focus of the students. Additionally, youngsters get a chance to do whatever they want which indulges them into very wrongful activities. For example, the students who are moving to Canada for higher studies, end up their lives consuming and smuggling drugs. Another disadvantage of living separate from the parents is that, sometimes the distance between the two is that large that they did not get a chance to meet immediately in case of emergencies.
In conclusion, it is no denying the fact that in order to achieve goals and get success in life, persons have to shift from their cities to attain degrees and it is a responsible duty for them. But at the same time, parents should also be given time and taken care of. Otherwise, there is no benefit of studying from a far away college or university.
