Commitment to me has always played a vital element to complete an aim or a goal that we desire. It has helped me so many times, even when my world surrounded by dead ends, failures,… I was still manage to pursue my dream no matter what circumstances and has reached lots of achievements afterwards. In this essay, I want to share about my journey and share about my aspiration that I hope to reach in the future.

First of all, back then when I was twelve, I was a nonchalant person who has not yet clear about the future path. I only just knew and go for what people told me to, pushing myself days and nights and resulted in hospitalized since I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. During my treatment, I experienced many negative emotions. I saw my friends went on and asked myself so many times whether should I give up and accept my fate. Yet, every cloud has a silver lining, I met professor Tran Trung Dung and his team in 2020, a thought had enlightened me when I see their efforts, their passions to save many people’s lives. An aspiration has lightened in my heart, so is a commitment formed inside my head and I knew that I have to keep up with my study if I want to success. I devoted myself in watching, listening lessons through learning apps and find study methods to fit myself. Therefore, thanks to my efforts, I won a consolation prize in the provincial biology competition for gifted students while having nearly perfect scores as well. Although my experience was dark and hurt to look back, but it helped me to become a better version of myself.

In addition, I am looking forward to achieving my goals in the future. Having a chance to study at Vin Uni, means there are lots of opportunities for me to extend my knowledge from experienced teachers and peers. I am particularly interested in medicine and oncology because of my personal connection to these fields. I hope to contribute to the development of advanced treatments that can improve patients’ quality of life and provide them with hope during difficult times.

Ultimately, achieving this key milestone has paved the way for future goals. Throughout this process, dedication built my resilience, while ambition continues to drive me forward.
