Band 6+: A growing number of people feel that animals. should not exploited by people and that they should have same rights as humans, while other argues that humans must employ animals to satisfy various needs, including uses for food and research. Discuss both the view and give your opinion.

Humans have been living side by side with animals since ancient times. Some people argue that the action of taking advantage of animals must be ceased, whilst others put an objection towards it as those creatures play an important role in mankind’s lives. From my standpoint, I agree to keep using animals to support our living, but with certain proper treatments.

In favor of securing the same rights as humans, some claim that animals are also living beings just like humans and thus deserve to live peacefully. As a result, slaughtering, consuming, and killing animals should be avoided or even prohibited. Instead of living creatures, plants can also be an alternative source needed for humankind.

On the contrary, it’s impossible to eliminate the utilization of animals in life no matter how many replacements are available in this world. Animals are human’s top-tier source of food due to their rich nutrition and practicability to get and be processed. Furthermore, scientists have used them to conduct several scientific experiments, for instance, vaccination and medicines, to boost mankind’s health.

In a nutshell, even though all living creatures including animals have the right to be free from exploitation, it’s inevitable to completely refrain from using them to fulfill human’s daily necessities. Nevertheless, humankind must make use of the animals wisely and properly, only for the sake of primary needs.
