When we talk about migration in general , the major reasons people migrate is to seek better opportunities and a better quality of life. If we talk about rural areas ,most of this areas face a wide range of problems which can lead to large scale migration in that region.

Some of this reasons could be the lack of basic necessacities such as clean water,24 hour electricity, good education , job opportunities and so on. At first this may sound very basic but there exists a lot of areas that still are unable to fulfill these needs. This forces the residence of such areas especially the young population to miragte to larger cities so that they can get access to better quality education and many more opportunities.

This migration indeed leads to the decline of countryside communities. If we want to stop this from happening we have to take certain measures that can motivate people to stay in there areas. For example making good quality and affortable education available in these areas through improving the schools. By making sure that the basic human needs are fulfilled such as water, electricity, connectivity and so on. Furthermore making reforms and policies to bring in industries and thus creating opportunities for the people. Surverys can also be a good method in order to figure out why are people migrating from a particular area and try to focus on that very reason.

Ultimately people migrate due to lack resources or opportunities which are crucial for them.If the authorities can look upon the need of the people and find ways to fulfill them, the amount of people leaving the land will reduce significantly.
