Nowadays, many old people feel lonely and they are facing health problems. There are several reasons for this problem, but there are also some solutions.
Firstly, old people feel lonely because their families are busy. In society, young people spend a lot of their time for work and study and do not have enough time for their grandparents and their parents. As a result, old people stay alone at home,so they feel bored and sad. Secondly, their children are studying or working in the urban areas and they are living so far away. Their children cannot share stories with their parents everyday while old people’s friends may have passed away, so they have fewer people to talk to.
There are some solutions to this problem. First, families should spend more time with elderly people by visiting them or calling them regularly. This can make them feel happy and loved. Second, the government should create many programs for old people, it brings comfortable feelings for old people and they can have new friends.Finally, old people should be encouraged to do light exercise like walking or yoga to keep their bodies healthy.
In conclusion, old people suffer from loneliness and lack of health problems because of young people’s busy lifestyle. However, if families, society, and the government work together, this problem can be reduced.
