I strongly agree that all children should study a foreign language in school, beginning in the earliest grades. Learning a foreign language offers numerous advantages , which promote the well-being of society.
One major benefit of learning foreign languages is understanding of different cultures. Nowadays a world where day by day an increasing level of interaction and globalization appreciation of different cultures are crucial. Learning languages breaks the ice between different cultures and values. For example, people learning English started to understand the unique characteristics of the language and explored native’s way of thinking
Furthermore, knowing a foreign language opens up many opportunities for personal and professional growth. In current times it’s very necessary not only for a future job, where it is an obvious necessity of knowing foreign languages also for daily life. For example, youngsters can help their parents during traveling and translate for them.
In conclusion, I believe it’s important for children to start learning a foreign language early in school.
