There is a lot of different opinions about social services which provide people needs. Some argue that services, particularly education and healthcare should be available for whole categories of inhabitants and funded by the state. I strongly agree with this preposition because it creates positive impact for national development.
Firstly, providing an accessible and free education helps to boost economic indications. If everyone could get a qualification it not only raises labor force but also helps the government improves citizens well-being.
This, in turn, raises labor productivity, hence, business can create more jobs. As a result, it is contributing to a more prosperous and equitable future. For instance, Singapore has an unemployment rate of two percent by ensuring that the government continuously invests in programs for workers and promotes knowledge exchange with other counties. Consequently, it demonstrates interest of providing high-quality education for their citizens.
Similarly, an affordable health system contribute social stability and reduce inequality. This ensures everyone to get a regular check up and enable early detection of diseases. By ensuring this, economic development does not reduce and financial performance metrics would be stability because people do not skip their work. Moreover, it is necessary to provide a free medicine service because it is a fundamental human right. This promotes a social equality which allowed everyone to get a fast medicine service. Canada’s Medicare system is a prime example as it provided publicly funded healthcare services to citizens.
In conclusion, I completely agree it is essential both of services should be free for everyone. In the long run it will benefit both society and the state as a whole.
