In recent years, alternative energy resources are increasingly popular. Many people believe that alternative energy resources should be used in ensuring the survival of the human race, while individuals argue that conventional energy is adequate for long term usage. In my opinion, I mostly agree to use alternative sources of power to guarantee the survival of human kind, however, there are still some issues in terms of funding.
On one hand, there are significant reasons why alternative energy cannot completely guarantee the survival of humankind due to lack of funding in order to generate green energy such as hydro power, wind power, and solar power. It is widely perceived that using alternative energy from natural resources needs a large amount of budget spending in terms of both recruiting green power specialists, and developing modern technologies that are extremely essential for building dams, turbines and solar cell panels. For instance, a country, which is rich in natural resources is unable to switch entirely to renewable energy because of a limited budget to construct the green energy generators, and also the local laborers still lack knowledge and skills in the particular field to develop the technologies by themselves. Consequently, traditional powers such as fossil, gas and charcoal, are still necessary for driving the country as well as ensuring the survival of the human race.
On the other hand, there are two major reasons for supporting the utilization of alternative energy plays a vital role to guarantee the long-lasting survival of humanity because it helps protect the environment and earn extra income for the state. Renewable energy, such as wind, solar and hydro powers, are environmentally friendly as these natural resources release less carbon emissions, compared with traditional energy, namely fuels, charcoals and fossils, which have harmed diversity, and caused global warming. In addition, the use of green power not only sustains the ecosystem for the long-run, but also provides a huge source of revenue from exporting alternative energy. To illustrate this, a nation with an ideal landscape that is full of natural resources, such as rivers, wind and sunshine, can take benefit from them in order to earn more income from selling the renewable energy to countries that have insufficient energy. Hence, in order to warrant the survival of humanity, animals as well as bio-network, the employment of alternative energy has been considering the most appropriate solution.
In a nutshell, in my point of view, I largely support that the utilization of renewable energy is one of the most effective options in terms of sustaining the environment, ensuring the survival of humankind, and earning revenues from the energy exportation. Nevertheless, the old-style natural energy is still crucial for infrastructures and developing the country.
