As the Internet begins to rival newspapers, a lot of useful information is published there. While some people agree that the Internet is the best place to find information about what is happening in the world, others argue that only newspapers provide them with truthful events and materials. However, l believe that the use of online resources will continue to become widespread, due to the fact that searching for the information online is time-saving, more convenient and broader.
On the one hand, in my opinion, newspapers are great traditional sources of information. Thus, old people or those, who live in rural areas might not be able to get online, so for knowing local gossips, political and fashion discovering the news will fit them perfectly. Moreover many people like the experience of holding and reading a paper rather than looking at a computer screen.
However, despite its effect on people’s eyes, the Internet is clearly the main source of the information about everything. Whether it is science, technologies, president elections or presentations of new phones, it lifts the veil on everything that is happening in today’s world. Above all, online resourses give chances not only to read a text and show it to your sister, but also to share your own opinion and make some critical analysis both for yourself and others scrooling the comments. A final point is that the Internet is less damaging to the environment, owing the fact that the wood is not used for producing the needed materials for websites.
In conclusion, I definitely disagree with the view that newspapers will continue to be the main source of news, because with the appearance of the Internet people definatlely understood how easy it is to write what you need and get the immediate answer.
