Nowadays a large proportion of people change their job for they are not satisfied with it and need a better income source. In my opinion this phenomenon can have positive effects on society.
There are numerous motivations for some individuals to have an alternative for their current profession. Two important reason which they tend to have another job are to achieve the sense of fullfilment and increasing their earnings. Some professionals are not valued for their skills and education in their workplace by their managers, then they would be frustrated and may not bear to be understimated. They like to do their best performance, and as a result reach to their highest self-esteem. However, this may not be possible in most jobs, making no choice for workers and employees to make another way for their progression. In so many underdeveloped countries, for example, the highest rate of quiting current jobs are seen. Moreover many may not afford every day expenses and costs, looking for jobs that survive them from poverty. Easily they may reach their least financial requirements by changing their working envirinment. In our country, for instance, so many nurses left hospitals and prefering other jobs like taxi driving, marketing and trade which are irrelevent to their educational certification.
Changing jobs for whom that are understimated in their workplace may have some benefits for the society as a whole. In this status, the society would promote automatically according to the individual’s better mental mood and the abuse of employees would be restricted. As a result, managers are forced to adapt themselves to the criteria which are essential for working force, such as their profession, skills and financial conditions. In our city, government changed its policies about nurses, increased their income and provided more facilities for them. These policies resulted in a better health services applied by nurses.
In conclusion, some labor forces and employees are deciding to experience other careers to reach job satisfaction and higher income, which probably have numerous pros for society.
