This is the era of technology in today’s world. Computers have become one of the most essential parts of the education system. Many people advocate that it might lead to a negative impact, while some people strongly believe that it leads to a positive contribution to the education system. In my opinion, it has both good sides and drawbacks, and I will discuss both sides in this essay.
To begin with, as modern society is becoming more advanced day by day, with a single click, education is becoming easier for students. Moreover, any problems and solutions can easily be found through the internet, and students can gather more information about their subjects for any kind of problems. Although they can make their life more impressive with collective knowledge, for example, The Times of London reported news in September 2022 that 19 out of 20 students who were taking help from computers to solve their problems easily passed their examinations, while those who were not introduced to computers, only 6 out of 20 were examined.
Secondly, anything in this world comes with its side effects as well. There are many scams that are easily conducted through social sites, and despite this, individuals who have knowledge of hacking can easily steal a person’s personal data and blackmail them. For example, The Times of Gorkha reported news last Friday that a hacker hacked one’s profile and blackmailed them for various times, asking for money, which became the reason for their death.
In conclusion, computers are one of the most integral parts of a student’s life to make their education easier, but their use should be in a very educational way.
