Nowadays, it is often argued that politicians should be more open and closer to the people, which means they should be more transparent in newspapers, while others think that they do not want to know about the details of their private lives. This essay will discuss both points of view and give my opinion.
On the one hand, many people believe that politics should be more serious and shouldn’t publish stories about their lives. This means that people can get angry because they think that politicians are putting their lives on display instead of paying attention to the real problems and solving them. For instance, newspapers sometimes focus on politicians’ family issues or personal relationships, which distracts the public from important political decisions and real social problems.
On the other hand, many people forget that politicians are also people who have their own personal lives and they also sometimes want such simple things as sharing good news or posting a photo from a picnic. As a result, very often after some politician has said something about their life, they often become very condemned for this or that news item. For instance, when politicians share simple moments from their personal lives on social media, it can make them seem more human and help people feel closer to them.
In conclusion, most often, people don’t like and condemn it when politicians share something that doesn’t concern importent issues. In my opinion, there’s nothing wrong with them sharing things from thier lives.
