Contemporarily, the roles of executives and managers in organizations are predominantly (=main) held by older adults. Some people concur that younger individuals could serve as more effective leaders due to their innovative thinking and imaginative approaches. From my perspective, I’m in agreement with this given notion.
Notably, it is undeniable that entrusting leadership roles to younger individuals can generate various noteworthy challenges. Firstly, the depth of specialized knowledge and the accumulation of experience are often the results of years of commitment (cam kết) and dedication to one’s profession (=career). Consequently, youger leaders might make uninformed decisions in critical areas (những lĩnh vực quan trọng), such as financial management, due to their limited experience at the outset of their careers (khi mới bắt đầu sự nghiệp). Secondly, establishing credibility (độ tin cậy) and respect within a corperate (=association: tổ chức, công ty) structure poses another challenge for younger leaders. If they do not remain in their positions long enough (làm việc chưa đủ lâu) to cultivate (củng cố) trust or fail to inspire confidence (truyền cảm hứng tự tin) among their teams, the sustainability of organizational growth may be at risk.
Albeit with the aforementioned drawbacks, I do believe that young leaders can offer superior benefits. In the first place, younger generations possess an innate ability to adapt to rapidly evolving societal normsand technological advancements. Their familiarity with cutting-edge technology grants them a unique edge, for instance, they often acquire knowledge through diverse platforms such as social media, which can enhance collaborative efforts and foster innovative practices within organizations. In the second place, youthful exuberance and vigor of these individuals serve as powerful catalysts for success. Working within a calm mind is one of vital factors that would maintain our motivation and productivity in the workplace. After all, those active emotion could affect on other people, therefore energetic or optimistic emotion considered as great motivation for individuals everyday work.
In conclusion, despite the great risk of giving youth’s responsibility as young leaders leading to unwanted mistakes during managing progress, I espouse the notion that the disadvantages are incontrovertibly eclipsed by numerous benefits they bring.
