Why I said that? Because the local shops have its own strength point. And the first benefit of shopping in retail store is save money. Instead of having to travel along distance from the house to buy a small item. You just need to walk or ride the bike to buy that item. That will have you save money. Because supermarkets are always located in center of the city or crowded road. That you need to drive your car to get there. Beside, you have to pay extra parking fees and fuels to keep the car running. If you drive vehicles that run on gasoline, it also pollutes the environment and increases the greenhouse effect.
Moreover, you chose shopping in family-run shop, you can find a few unique items that you can give as a gift to your friend. For example, in local shop you can buy the handicrafts such as crystal necklaces, bracelets and earing… or the handmade scarves and it comes in different color, shape that you rarely ever find in supermarkets.
The next benefit of shopping in a local shop is cheap prices. In fact, the small shops do not have to pay corporation tax. Besides, they don’t have expenses such as packaging, shipping and renting the warehouse, even hiring staff since the most employees are family members. As a consequence, those shop can sales their product at lower prices. Then, the retail store expands their business. The economy of their province will increase and attract foreign investment capital. The above will lead to attracting a large number of customers to buy products at family-run shop. And I would like to confirm once again that small shops will always. Why do I make such an assertion? Because they spend on relative, neighbor. For example, my neighbor opens a small shop, according my country’s traditional, I will definitely go buy goods to support them.
