The use of cars has become increasingly common in recent years. Despite some obvious harmful consequences, I strongly believe that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
On one hand, the growing number of cars significantly impacts the environment. One reason for this is the rise in pollution, with CO2 levels increasing each day and fossil fuel reserves depleting rapidly. This resulting polluted environment is causing a loss of many animal species and disrupting the environmental ecosystem that is vital for all creatures. It is essential for everyone to reduce the use of harmful cars and unnecessary transportation that negatively affects our environment.
On the other hand, there are several reasons why people prefer to own cars and other means of transport. Firstly, owning a car provides convenient mobility, enabling individuals to travel from one place to another easily. Additionally, transportation allows people to arrive at their destinations promptly. The ability to travel anywhere makes the world seem more connected, turning our globe into a smaller, more accessible ‘village’. Due to these reasons, governments worldwide are investing in improving their transportation infrastructure to enhance its sustainability.
In conclusion, while owning a car presents various challenges, I still believe that it is the preferred choice due to the benefits it offers, which outweigh its drawbacks.
