It is commonly argued that the ability to drive a car which is considered a prominent one needs to ve taught in school. I certainly disagree with that due to potential risks and problems might possess a danger.
The most notable drawback is that the increased hazard of accidents caused by the eagerness of deiving a car especiallt those who are in the years of 16 to 18. For instance; it is illegal in my country, Turkiye, to use a car under the age of 18 and even if you are above that age, you have to have a driver license which shows that you are capable of driving in the public legally. Thus, it would rise rhe number of illegal drivers among teenager.
Moreover, altough everyone could learn to drive in school, merely certain people has their own car because of some economical difficulties. As a result, it would break the hopes of some students so that they do not even have a car to drive. Besides that, the public transport is well-developped and available at most of the hours. Taking a bus or train would cost less money and faster than private cars.
Granted, it is important to have a knowledge of driving particularly in case of emergency and when you are alone, it will help you to go to the hospital or police station. However, the cons outweigh the benefits after all.
To conclude, having a driving lesson in school should not be taught and necessary. The risks of accidents and economical discrepancies will be higher in that case.
