The proposal to extent the time of vacation for employees in order to enhance their performance at jobs has elicited mixed reaction. In my point of view, I agree with the idea that offering workers prolonged time to rest will be a step in the right direction for various reasons.
First of all, employers should give its staff a lengthy holiday to strengthen their productivity. Giving that adequate time allows staff recharge their battery, leading the best mental health and well-being thus helping them prevent fatigue to work more efficiently. This can be exemplified by the fact that the senior employees in every company, who have to manage collective organisation and serious tasks, are always given the prolonged time of holiday to work more efficiently when they return to work.
Another compelling reason is that maintaining senior workers in workplace is really crucial. Providing the lucrative benefits such as the long holiday incentivize the moral of the personnel, enhance their responsibility and loyalty for workplace. As these factors underlies the overall satisfaction and employees retention, they will set a sustainable foundation for employees in order to dedicating for a long-term. In fact, almost all workers prioritize and stay for a long time in the company that offer them more ideal conditions when they work, so giving lengthy vacation for employees not only save the time to consultant new ones but also retain experienced and loyal workers in the company.
To sum it up, the topic of increasing vacation for employees has been a on going debate with many people expressing their concern. However, I believe that this approach entails many significant advantages, such as efficient productivity and experienced staff retention.
