Today, migration has become more accessible due to the emergence of agencies or companies who can help people to migrate easily than in the past. As a result, the number of immigrants has increased for various reasons. They migrate due to causes such as seeking employment, gaining new experiences, and pursuing better opportunities. This essay discusses pros and cons of migration for the individual and for communities.
One primary benefit for individuals is learning and feeling new experiences such as the country’s culture or heritages and even atmosphere. For example, Mongolia is different country because only the capital city (Ulaan-Baatar) of Mongolia is developing right now, such as technologies or areas with various opportunities for both society and citizens. Due to the fact that many immigrants move to the Ulaan-Baatar to study or for high-rated jobs. It is not only advantageous for immigrant, also the country’s economic rate grows, because of immigrants may bring professional skills or ideas which strongly connected with economic growth.
However, it has silver lining, including adaptation to the country may take long time and pressure on public services and infrastructure. For instance, every country is designed to accommodate an estimated population; however, if the population increases significantly, the government may need to build additional infrastructure and facilities, such as public transport, schools, and kindergartens. Furthermore, they may experience stress or anxiety because it can take a long time to adapt to a new environment and culture. They may also fear being bullied or discriminated against because of their different appearance or behavior.
In conclusion, although people migrate to other countries to seek new job opportunities or experience new places, migration can also have negative consequences, such as placing a strain on public services and causing mental health problems.
