Nowadays the international media has emerged significantly with Televisions and magazines being frequently used medium for the people to in sync with the world. Interestingly the media has reached its popularity in such a way that people are blindly going by what they see.

As a result there are humpty number of reality shows which focus on stimulating people against thier own cultural values by glorifying the western culture. This creates a peer pressure in people who are following thier cultural values to this and over analyse everything with a connotation that what every we have in our culture is a cultivated superstition by our ancestors.

On the other for many people media has created a spark on their cultural values which has made people to deep dive into the significance of their culture. As a personal instance, I was watching a debate show in which a speaker clearly narrates how we are carried away by the influence of media towards western cultures and narratives by making us guilty on what we have. As a result i found a tressure called my culture through a good speaker before which i was having a wrong notion about it

I firmly believe that media is a departmental store which holds every information about every topic, we should pick and validate what we want but unfortunately its not practically possible which is making the media to impact on our local culture

To conclude, I strongly believe Media has a negative impact on the local culture and this impact has been stimulated to people through various debates and shows, however people should cherish their cultural value without bothering the destructive criticism that is thrown at their cultural values
